Children's Day, Tuesday April 30th - Early Dismissal

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday April 30th will be our Children's Day Celebration here at school and everyone will be dismissed at 11:45.

Students are still responsible for all homework assignments this week.

Check the HOMEWORK section of this blog under this week (Week 36) to make sure all homework is completed and brought to school.

Dear Parents and Students of 5C:

Since my 4C Family Day is this Thursday, I will not be teaching classes that afternoon as I will go home in the morning right after the show.

Also, this week we will not be doing any lessons in Spelling or Grammar, but rather focusing on Reading, Health and Social Studies.

Make sure you check the blog closely this week as the directions for the homework will be posted and you may need them.

Valentines Day Card Exchange this Thursday, Feb. 14th

We will be having a Valentine's day card exchange this Thursday Feb. 14th inside our classroom.

Every student participating in the exchange must bring a card for EVERYONE in the classroom. If your child will bring candies or gifts, they must bring for EVERYONE.

If your child wants to give an extra-special present for only one person or only a select number of friends, it must be done in private (outside of school premises) where no one else sees. In short, we are trying to avoid hurt feelings or the feeling of being "excluded".

I appreciate your support with this, and let's make this a sweet Valentine's day for all.

No homework nor assessments this week, only do Raz-kids

Dear parents and students,

Because of the Spanish bimestral exams and the 4-day school week, I will not be assigning any homework this week nor will be have any assessments. Students are still responsible for 2 books and 2 quizzes on Raz-kids this week, so please make sure and do that.
